Meet and Greet with The Famous Author

Meet and Greet with Ust. Habiburrahman El Shirazy, 03 Mei 2016

Four days ago, I won a writing competitions ticket from Mr. Nurdin.  I got this ticket from him as I joined his competition to make article about anything with competition requirement is use own language, we may not copy from many reading, but we only review the reading to create your own articles. So, I could meet Ustad Habiburrahman El Shirazy or Kang Abih. This is my first time could met him. Why? because I meet a famous author. It's so wonderful. I think, it just my dream. But, when I pinched my cheeks, I am not dream, it is real. Oh my God.
              On Thursday night, I and my second brother went to the bookstores. I want to buy a novel "Bumi Cinta" created by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Since I arrived to the Sarjana Bookstore, I only discovered novel by many authors like a Tere Liye etc, but I couldn't find novels created by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. I was very confused. "If I can't find the novel, how about tomorrow?" then I asked the cashier "sir, I can't find Novel Bumi Cinta, what is the novel still there or not?". Cashier said, "oh sorry Miss, It was empty". "oh ok, thank you, sir". "I want to get his signature in my novel. Oh God, what will I do?" and then my brother invited me to go to Toga Mas Bookstore. When I arrived in Toga Mas, I looked for the novel immediately. But, I still couldn't find it. "Oh no, bro, how's this? I have to get the novel now. I need it", my complained. After we look around the bookshelves, we decided to return home.
Arrived at home, my mommy asked about the novel, "where is the novel?". "mom, I'm so sorry, I couldn't get the novel, because its stock is empty. Sorry". I apologised and my mom understood it. I still very confused how about tomorrow.
               On Friday morning, when I would get ready to go to the event, I had a little problem, because my father was sick.  I was confused to go there or not, but my mom told me to go there as  it was my chance can meet a famous author. Ultimately, I decided to go to the event. Since I don't look at the clock, it is shown 7 over. Finally, I shower and get ready. After getting ready, I called Chuppy. But, her handphone is off. I'm confused again. "Where is she? What will we ride?" Oh God". Shortly afterwards, she called me and she said that we will meet in front of the Al Husna store. For a long time I was waiting for her until Mr. Nurdin sent me messages asking our positions. Finally, Chuppy arrived and we went to the location directly.
When we were on the road, a pedicab driver was confused, because he was not too familiar with the place where we were headed. We got lost. After we informed in detail to him, we arrived at the location. In the distance, Mr. Nurdin was standing waiting for us. We approached him and apologized for the delay both of us. He asked us to re-registration, and we enjoyed the event.
               In talkshow with Habiburrahman El Shirazy, theme "Mencerdaskan Bangsa Melalui Buku dan Film", many people who enthusiastically attend to join the event. Here, he describes about the movement of literacy or literacy movement. It means the movement where we have a lot of reading, because reading a lot of things we know about anything of it. The book is the most beautiful thing. For anyone who are getting a lot of reading, he would be easier to tolerate and for anyone who can't enjoy the book, lost the life. He also said, "The best recreation is a book. Friends are the most loyal and do not hurt is a book. And friends are on benefits and do not bring loss is the Book".
After he finished explaining, it was time for a debriefing session. At the end of the event, he gives words of wisdom "The best of friends vent is Book". Then we see Mr. Nurdin. However, he excused to go back at home because there are other matters and he told us to take pictures with Ustad Abih and ask his signature . We overcrowding. We took our photo with him when he was signing their books. Actually, we less satisfied, because we can not take pictures beside of him. Even so, I have been very pleased can be photographed behind him. After the book of us have got his signature, we were selfie and then we went home.
              When we got home, I and Chuppy split up with Kak Tarwiyah, because she took a motorcycle. Then Chuppy invited me looking for an ATM on foot. I guess, it place is close, but it is so far and we didn't find it. Finally, we have to walk to find an ATM and a pedicab. We walked until Jelakombo. No one pedicab was passing. Since we were chatting in the street, a pedicab past us suddenly. And worse, It doesn't offer us to take ride it. "hah! Chuppy, the pedicab's driver is so cruel. He doesn't offer us to take ride it. How is this? I'm so tired". Soon, a pedicab is coming from ahead of us and we took ride it.
              Along the way, we were laughing because the funny incidents that we are experiencing now. Arriving home, I told the incident to my parents. I will never forget this moment. This moment is the moment exhausting, funny and memorable.
